    Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (“NGen”) is a not-for-profit organization that matches manufacturing companies with new technologies to drive advanced manufacturing in Canada. We are the engine of the Canadian government’s ambitious investment in the Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster, matching federal funds and private investments to industry-led projects.

    We promote technology adoption, skills improvements and greater collaboration between technology and manufacturing to help Canadian companies of all sizes navigate the global shift to advanced manufacturing. We use data to link companies, researchers, and investors so they can work together to invent new products or processes.

    Responsibilities:

    Support the expansion of NGen’s online presence by:

    • Developing social media content including template posts and copy.
    • Creating marketing collateral including presentations and sell sheets
    • Coordinating content management on the NGen website and Member portal
    • Maintaining company documents and reports
    • Managing video content on YouTube and other platforms.
    • Maintaining and executing on a content publishing calendar
    • Identifying markets and channels for digital expansion
    • Tracking website, social media analytics and content engagement trends

     

    Manage NGen’s brand identity and marketing collateral by:

    • Supporting NGen’s SEO, email marketing, social media and advertising campaigns.
    • Analyzing benchmarking trends to evaluate NGen’s performance relative to competitors and peers to help optimize spend.
    • Support events through development of communications, branding, marketing collateral.

     

    Support the Manager, Digital Marketing in developing external marketing relationships by:

    • Coordinating engagement of external agencies and vendors.
    • Ensuring consistency of brand, image and messaging across all media and mediums.
    • Maintaining templates, brand guides, business cards and other items as required.
    • Coordinating translations (to French)

    What YOU will bring
    to the table:

    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
    • French and English is preferred

    Experience with:

    • Hubspot or equivalent CRM & CMS Applications
    • Adobe Creative Cloud (inDesign and illustrator)
    • Adobe Premiere or equivalent video editing platforms
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint
