Cross-border tips for manufacturing sector employees during COVID-19

NGen   June 10, 2024

Got an idea for a potential Supercluster project?

Want to hear about other project proposals to see if one of them has a place for you?

NGen’s first Supercluster Project Pitch Day on April 16 is your chance to join in the gestation of the next generation of advanced manufacturing projects.

NGen administers Canada’s Advanced Manufacturing Supercluster, with $190 million of funding available to support industry-led consortia looking for technology solutions to manufacturing’s 21st century problems.

Gathering at Lot42 in Kitchener-Waterloo, the Pitch Day will bring together manufacturing and technology companies – big and small – as well as researchers and other organizations looking to collaborate on projects. The event is open to members and non-members of the Supercluster, though holding a free NGen membership will be required for any individual or company wanting to lead or participate in a project.

Companies with project ideas and in need of partners will deliver short presentations and be available afterwards to meet with participants and discuss their plans.

And NGen welcomes any company with a potential Supercluster project that they would like to pitch to contact us at ideas@ngen.ca.

Details about whether your project is eligible for funding and meets NGen’s project requirements can be found at members.ngen.ca. To access the member’s site, simply join the Supercluster at ngen.ca/join.

Participation at the April 16 event is limited so please register early. It’s a must-attend gathering, whether you’re interested in Supercluster projects or simply want to connect with others leading Canada’s advanced manufacturing revolution.
