Most industrial environments and manufacturing shop floors have poor wifi or UWB coverage, especially in automotive assembly lines, but also in many other industrial and “dirty” environments. Maya HTT’s expertise in combining existing (or new) real-time location system (RTLS) and AI-based machine vision removes wifi or UWB blind spots, and also adds capabilities for tackling important safety and security use cases. The increasing risks introduced by the increased presence of moving robots and other human-driven vehicles on any shop floor call for new solutions. The increased efficiency and in-house logistics enhancements combined with the increased shop floor safety and security make this AI project perfectly suited to the AI4M challenge.
