We’re looking to work with manufacturers of technically challenging products to scale our image analysis capabilities to provide value at higher volumes. Together, we would install, or use an existing, in-line X-Ray imaging system. We would then use our software and AI/ML capabilities to detect product defects and improve product quality. Examples of applicable technologies: braze joints, welding, etc.

About Machinery Analytics:

Our goal is to help manufacturers tackle the complexity of their products, accelerate development, and improve quality through our cloud-based software platform which analyzes time-series and image data to automate failure detection. We provide value to manufacturers across product development, from R&D to operations.

Project Objectives:

  • Going beyond pass/fail analysis & driving deeper quality insights.
  • Characterizing faults to determine route cause quickly
  • Improving manufacturing processes through a novel way of analysing image data and combine it with other time-series/sensor data

What THEY bring to the table:

  • Software for easy data visualization (Robust algorithms for X-ray and optical microscopy analysis)
  • Ability to identify voids in weld and braze joints, and provide specific measurements (analyzing 360 degree X-Ray images of braze joints in their pilot line; able to identify voids and provide specific image measurements & have software to visualize analyzed data and see overall lot performance)
  • Support to build and deploy in-line system as needed
